Sept. 29, 2011 – Gulf of Tadjoura, Djibouti – A whale shark photographed in the Gulf of Tadjoura off the coast of Djibouti in the Indian Ocean. Despite their size, whales sharks have no teeth and live off plankton. The sharks can grow up to 12 metres (40 foot) long and its mouth is 1.5 metre (4.9 foot) wide.
